I'm Jessica, a Louisiana based artist with a deep love for my family, my dog, and God’s beautiful creation. I have enjoyed painting for over 10 years and although my desire to be creative has always existed, my work was only shared with friends and family. In recent practice, I’ve opened myself up to exploring vibrant colors, using different materials and mediums, and sharing my pieces with those outside my small circle.

During the 2020 pandemic, I felt this urgent need to create pieces that uplift and bring cheerfulness to the human spirit. This desire sprouted a new love for jewelry making and a collection of floral paintings which pay homage to my mother, Florence, who was the first person who taught me to draw and more importantly, taught me to love others. I spent many days in my mother’s garden feeling inspired by all the things that remind me of her.
